It seems to me like the fire that Chrome started at release has burnt out.

Even I have been using it less and less as time goes on, to the point where it hasn't been open in a few days.

Am I the only one noticing the trend? Or do you believe the Chrome trend in general is dwindling?

its too Beta-ish to really compete with FF. I reinstalled XP, and havent even gotten chrome yet!

eh, i still use it in windows, but i am in linux 9/10 times so it is kinda pointless to use in linux.

These forums have kinda died though...

There needs to be a breakthrough w/ chrome... the problem is that everything is basically dependent on Google.

I would still be using it, if I was still using Windows. but until there's a Linux build, I'm going to be using Firefox.

Yeah, the initial hype has certainly died down.  It'll probably grow again at some point in the future, most likely when a plugin API is delivered, and perhaps a final release.

c'mon guys. it's been out for a whole month. It's already better than IE ever has been, it's better than Opera, and it's getting close to better than Firefox. How long have each of those browsers been out? IE's first release was in 1995, Opera's in 1996, and Firefox's in 2002. Chrome has been out a month, and it's already better than nearly every browser out there. Give it some time.

and now that I have XP back on my machine, I haven't even installed FF yet. I doubt I will on my windows partition.

Hey I never said I didn't like Chrome, and now that my PC is fixed Chrome is still my default browser.
